“We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that He has already thrown open His door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hope we might stand-out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.” Romans 5:2

I am standing in that wide open space. Every time I spin around I get a glimpse of another Grace moment and His glory.

I am moving to Uganda. The call has been there for awhile and He has thrown open the door for me to go. I am beyond humbled and the joy I feel to be able to answer the Call is something I cannot put into words. I could list over 1,000 graces He has shown me thus far and I know what this scripture means when it says “all we can do is shout praises”.

I leave in February and I can tell you that I am so thankful for all the blessings that have come to me in the form of my friends, family and people I don’t even know. I look back to when this journey started and I am in amazement of God’s creativity in connecting the dots to get me here. I have seen dreams that can move mountains and He has renewed my faith. I still have so long to go…I still have moments where I am frozen in fear and worry about my future. And then He reminds me to look back and see what He has done thus far…He has done great things for me. He has done great things for us.

This is the best part…we all have a calling, we all have a door that He is waiting to open for us. A door that leads to something that is worth every fear and risk. A door that leads us into the dark but worth going because it’s what He created us for. He placed the desire in us to live life outside of the box, we all get tired of the day to day..let’s all stand in the open places with our arms high, shouting with JOY.

Thank you for joining me in my journey to Uganda…
